Resurrection is a busy place! There are ministries, classes, and service opportunities available for all ages.

Worship & Music

Worship at Resurrection follows the Reformed Church’s three-fold pattern:

• We Enter God’s Presence with Praise

• We Receive God’s Grace through Word and Sacrament

• We Respond to God in Thanksgiving and Service

Our worship services are full of a variety of music that ranges from classical to gospel to contemporary. A variety of choral and instrumental groups participate in leading God’s people in worship, but worship is not a performance. All worshipers are invited to participate in singing, reading Scripture, and sharing in prayer.

Sermons are firmly based on Scripture and are focused on spiritual growth and renewal, deeper understanding of the Christian faith, and applying Christian faith to daily living in practical ways.

Prayer is an integral part of our worship, and a significant portion of each service is dedicated to prayers of thanksgiving and intercession.

  • Sunday Morning Worship – 10:00 a.m.
  • Nursery care is provided by trained volunteers.
  • Children’s Worship is offered for kids age 4 through second grade.
  • Art Supplies and “Quiet Bags” are available for children who remain in the service.
  • Children with special needs are welcome in worship, in the nursery, and in our children’s worship center.
  • Gluten free bread is available when Communion is served in worship.
  • Hearing assistance devices and large print bulletins are available.

Discipleship & Fellowship

We grow in our faith as followers of Jesus Christ in our life together. We study God’s Word together. We pray together for one another and for the needs of the world. We support and encourage each other, and enjoy getting to know each other better. This is why we focus on growth in discipleship and fellowship through a variety of classes and groups for all ages.

We offer:

  • Sunday School Classes for All Ages
  • Children’s Worship
  • Youth Groups
  • Confirmation Mentoring and Inquirer’s Classes
  • Bible Study Groups
  • Fellowship Groups
  • Special Events and Activities

Service & Outreach

We firmly believe that God’s gifts are given to be shared. We know that we have received great things, and we give thanks to God by sharing what we have been given and by serving others wherever we can.

Our Service and Outreach work includes:

  • Volunteer tutors and teacher helpers serve at our local elementary school.
  • We collect food, clothing and personal items regularly for local pantries and shelters.
  • We regularly provide worship services in the county jail.
  • We actively support the work of Carriage Town Ministries, an important local ministry providing food, clothing and shelter to those in need, with financial gifts and as volunteers.
  • We support RCA missionaries in Nicaragua and the Middle East.
  • Our high school youth go out on regular mission trips.
  • Camp Tuesday!, our summer day camp, provides safe and fun activities and a healthy lunch for local kids.
  • Seeds of Hope Community Garden, shares our land with the neighbors to grow healthy food. (All extra produce is donated to the kitchen at Carriage Town Ministries.)
