Worship at Resurrection follows the Reformed Church’s three-fold pattern:
We Enter God’s Presence with Praise
We receive God’s Grace through Word and Sacrament
We Respond in Thanksgiving and Service
We’ve summarized this pattern this way:
We Reach Up
We Reach In
We Reach Out
Our worship services are full of a variety of music that ranges from classical to gospel to contemporary. During the program year (September through May) a variety of choral and instrumental groups participate in leading God’s people in worship.
Sermons are firmly based on Scripture and are focused on spiritual growth and renewal, deeper understanding of the Christian faith, and applying Christian faith to daily living in practical ways.
Prayer is an integral part of our worship, and a significant portion of each service is dedicated to prayers of thanksgiving and intercession. Second Sunday Prayers (held the second Sunday of each month) is an evening service dedicated entirely to prayers of intercession for healing, provision, and direction.
